Speakers Bureau - Behavioral Health Concerns in Military Veterans: An Overview for Civilian Primary Care Providers (1.0 to 1.5 hrs.)

The training provides basic information regarding military culture and reviews military-specific factors that may impact behavioral health and functioning.

An overview of common deployment-related conditions such as PTSD, TBI, insomnia and depression will be presented as well as useful screening and treatment resources and referral options for primary care providers to consider when treating patients from the military community who may be concerned about asking for behavioral health care.
