The percentage of 491,604 women veterans who "reported a history of migraine," according to a study published earlier this year in JAMA Network Open -- Migraine Prevalence, Environmental Risk, and Comorbidities in Men and Women Veterans. 8.2% of male veterans reported migraine history.
 
Veterans with migraine reported significantly worse general health, more pain, and had a higher reported prevalence of neurological and psychiatric conditions, with a noted association to specific environmental exposures during military service.
